Hello, I’m Dr Sonia Pace, I’m a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years experience working with adults in a range of mental health and well-being settings within the NHS and private sector.

As a psychologist, I always feel privileged to listen to life experiences and support people during challenging times. Witnessing moments of self-discovery, development, and recovery is a rewarding part of my job. I provide a non-judgmental, confidential space to explore and understand more about your difficulties; so, we can work together to achieve meaningful change.

It is important to me that therapy is a helpful experience and so my style is collaborative and transparent.  I specialise in adult mental health, and work with a range of psychological difficulties, which include:

  • Anxiety

  • OCD

  • Worry and Generalised Anxiety Disorder

  • Depression

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Self-esteem and low self-worth difficulties

  • Difficulties in self-belief and confidence.

  • Difficulties in managing emotions.

  • Work related and performance stress.

  • relationship difficulties.

  • Bereavement, grief and loss.

In addition to my Doctorate training, I have also completed training in a number of psychological therapies, including Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR.  I can therefore draw from a range of therapeutic models and strategies to tailor an approach to best meet your needs.
