Why psychological input is important in an organization?

 

People are an organisations greatest resource.  The COVID pandemic impacted on all organisations and employees. Now more than ever, workplace mental health and wellbeing is an important agenda, with a key aspect the psychological wellbeing of staff.

In any one year, 1 in 6 workers is experiencing a mental health difficulty.

​

In 2021-22 there were 0.8 million Workers suffering from work-related stress, depression or anxiety out of that number,  451,000 Workers suffering from a new case of work-related stress, depression or anxiety.

​

How much someone values their role or how valued they feel links to level of performance.  The total cost of mental ill health to the UK employer was estimated at £26 billion, costing £1,035 per employee, per year in 2007.

What we offer

Training packages

 

Evidence based training focused on topics that are affecting individuals and teams can be a useful way to raise awareness and develop new strategies for addressing problems at an individual and team level. Examples of training topics include:

  • stress awareness and management,

  • understanding and managing self-criticism

  • Mental Health awareness

  • building resilience.

An initial consultation helps to identify your teams needs and sets clear objectives for training, bespoke training packages can be developed.

Wellbeing packages

 

  • 1:1 sessions to support skills development and overcome barriers in implementing coping skills.

  • Personal therapy to address difficulties within or out with the work place to support better management and performance at work.

  • Working with a team to evaluate current wellbeing, identify areas for development and a team strategy to enhance staff wellbeing.
